Privacy Policy

"QSI (also referred to as “Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) ranks the personal data protection for our customers as a top priority in compliance with the “Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, etc.” In this Privacy Policy, the Company will provide customers (also referred to as “you” or “your”) with detailed information on how and where we use your personal data that we have collected and which measures are taken to protect your privacy.
If this Privacy Policy is to be amended, revised or altered, a notification will be sent or posted on the website.

This policy is effective from September 1, 2023.

Purpose for Collection and Use of Personal Information

We collect and use the following personal information for the purposes as stated below:
Performance of contract for service provision and settlement of fees according to service provision
Content provision, purchase and payment, product delivery or billing, financial transaction identity verification and financial services

Member Management
Identity verification, personal identification, prevention of fraudulent use by delinquent members and unauthorized use, confirmation of intention to join, age verification, handling of complaints such as complaints, delivery of notices

Use for marketing and advertising
Delivery of advertising information such as events, identification of access frequency, or statistics on member service use

Retention and Usage Period of Personal Information

The Company will destroy personal information immediately once the purpose of collection and use of the information is achieved in principle. However, the personal information may be retained under the provisions of the applicable laws and regulations.
- Rationale : Records of contract or withdrawal of subscription, etc.
- Period : 3years
- Records of contract or withdrawal of subscription, etc. : 5 years (Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, Etc.)
- Records on payment and supply of goods : 5 years (Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, Etc.)
- Records of consumer complaints or dispute resolution : 3 years (Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, Etc.)

Destruction of Personal Information

The Company will destroy personal information immediately once the purpose of collection and use of
the information is achieved in principle as follows:
Destruction Procedures
Personal details provided for subscription will be transferred to a separate database (or a separate filing cabinet if printed) and retained according to internal policies and other applicable laws and regulations (see “Retention and Usage Period”); it will be destroyed after a certain period.
Personal information transferred to a separate database will not be used for any purposes other than retention, unless required by applicable laws.

Method of Destruction
- Personal information stored as an electronic file is destroyed using a technical or physical method such that records cannot be reproduced, and personal information printed on paper is shredded or destroyed by incineration.

Disclosure of Personal Information

The Company will not provide personal information to third parties in principle, except for:
(1) when the users have given the prior consent; or
(2) when the investigation agency requests to disclose the personal information in accordance with the procedures and methods stipulated by applicable laws.

Entrustment of Personal Information

The company entrusts the operation of the services to an external agency as follows.

Rights of Data Subject and Legal Guardianship

The data subject may exercise the following rights related to personal information protection against the Company at any time.

2. The data subject may make a request for correction of errors in personal information.
3. The data subject may make a request for deletion.
4. The data subject is entitled to request a suspension of processing personal information.
※ If the data subject is under the age of 14, the child’s legal guardian is entitled to access, update, or edit the child’s persona information, to request suspension, and to revoke their consent to the collection and use of data.

Automatic Data Collector and Opt-out

In order to provide personalized services, the Company uses “cookies” that store and retrieve information regarding customers occasionally. Cookies are small blocks of data created and transmitted by a server to your web browser and placed on the hard disk of your computer and is used for operating the Company website. The Company may use cookies for the following purposes:
